About MDK Landscaping
A Valley Cottage company in business since 2007, owned and run by Mark, who works on the job sites himself.
How MDK started
Mark started MDK in 2007 and has run it from Valley Cottage ever since. It's still his company in the most literal sense. He walks every property himself, prices every job, and handles the billing, so the person who quotes the work is the person who answers for it. On the job, Mark works alongside his own crew, not subcontractors. The company started with lawn care and landscaping, and over the years grew into full hardscaping, planting, seasonal cleanups, snow removal, and commercial work, all under one Rockland County license. Homeowners who call MDK get the owner on the phone and see him again on site, from the first walkthrough to the final cleanup.
How MDK works
Estimates. Estimates are free, and Mark does every one himself. He walks the property, prices the job, and handles the billing, so the person who quotes the job is the person who answers for it.
The phone. Mark picks up at (845) 642-1980. If he's on a job and misses the call, he usually calls back the same day.
Proposals. Every proposal is in writing and lists the work, the materials, and the price, so homeowners know exactly what they're paying for before anything starts.
The crew. Mark works on the sites alongside his own crew. MDK doesn't use subcontractors, so the people doing the work are the same people every time.
